Women's ONLY Defensive Pistol 1

Whether you are new to defensive shooting or an experienced shooter looking to expand on your knowledge base, this Women's Only Course was designed just for that reason. This course gives a great hands on experience with becoming more confident in handling a handgun safely.

This Defensive Pistol 1 course requires that you have taken a basic level pistol course as a prerequisite. This course is designed to cover safety, malfunctions, target transition, and dynamic/defensive shooting from a holster.

Firearm rentals are available upon request. Please fill out a firearms rental request form after confirmation for the course. Additional cost for ammunition if firearms are rented.

Prerequisites: Basic/Intro Pistol (ICE Strategies Course) or equivalent Certificate of Completion

Equipment Required: handgun with at least two magazines (firearm rentals available), firearm holster, rigid belt, two pistol mag pouches, and eye and ear protection

Ammunition: 250 rounds

Federal law requires a participant to be either a U.S. Citizen with a valid government photo ID (Driver’s License, Real ID or U.S. Passport); a naturalized citizen with a valid government photo ID; or a Permanent U.S. Resident with a valid government photo ID.
